privacy-conscious design

Privacy Policy

Model Taste Testing supports anonymous play and does not require personal information to use the core game. If you choose to sign in or complete a profile, the app stores the fields you provide so your history and optional background comparisons can work.

Data We Store

We store anonymous session IDs, optional profile fields, question views, first answers, updated answers, reveal timestamps, private tasting notes, reported issues, aggregate gameplay events, and admin audit records. We do not need sensitive personal data and the app should not be used to store secrets, credentials, PII, customer data, or confidential material in prompts or artifacts.

Cookies And Analytics

The app uses secure, HTTP-only cookies for anonymous and signed-in sessions. Analytics events are abstracted and intentionally avoid full prompts or outputs. Events track gameplay activity such as views, submissions, shares, login, and leaderboard use.

Leaderboards

Ranked results use first answers by default. Public leaderboard entries use private aliases unless you explicitly opt in from your profile to show your display name.

Access, Export, And Deletion

Visit Profile to export or delete stored data. Anonymous deletion/export depends on the anonymous session token because there is no separate account identity. If you sign in after anonymous play, your anonymous history is linked to that account.

Imported Material

Personal history imports should be explicit, sanitized, marked private or curated, and reviewed before publication. Public datasets and eval sets should include attribution and license metadata.
